Blackpool is a vibrant and exciting holiday resort, situated on the Lancashire coast. It has seven miles of beach and the fantastic illuminations, as well as a great many other tourist attractions.

Blackpool attractions include the Tower, Pleasure Beach, Illuminations, Golden Mile and the many shows. There are always plenty of things to do for families and for those wanting to enjoy the lively and varied club scene.

It's a town full of firsts: taller, faster rollercoasters, bigger clubs, even the biggest mirror ball in the world plus world-class shows, cosmopolitan restaurants, vibrant nightlife, an active sports scene and breathtakingly beautiful scenery on Blackpool's doorstep.

The tourism season in Blackpool covers the summer months and autumn, which is when the illuminations are staged. The resort is also extremely busy at Easter time and the spring and August Bank Holidays, as well as the Christmas and New Year periods.
