Blackpool Model Village
A world in minature
Blackpool’s award winning attraction the Blackpool Model Village & Gardens has been serving the Lancashire community since the late 1960’s. Specialising in bringing smiles and laughter to visitors.
As seen on TV, the village and gardens are set into a stunningly beautiful landscaped 2½ acres of carefully tended gardens with pathways that provide full access to all of visitors.
Marvel at the many hand crafted models and figures that represent life’s rich tapestry. Step back in time to those bygone days when life seemed to move at a slower pace, from a Scottish Castle, protected by it’s ranks of Guardsmen to a tranquil Cornish fishing village. From thatched cottages to a Tudor village who’s residents enjoy a cricket match on the village green.

The Winter Gardens, Blackpool
The Winter Gardens is a large complex of theatres and conference facilities in the town centre of Blackpool, England. The site was opened in 1878 but a large part of the current building is relatively recent, dating back to the 1930s. The Winter Gardens is a favoured venue for political conferences, having hosted the main annual conferences for trade unions and all three major British political parties. In fact, the owners of the centre claim that every British prime minister since the Second World War has addressed an audience there. The Winter Gardens has also been the venue of the Blackpool Dance Festival since its inception in 1920 and has hosted the World Matchplay darts tournament every July since 1994.
The Winter Gardens complex is perfectly situated at the heart of the North West of England, in Britain's most famous seaside resort, Blackpool.
