TERMS and CONDITIONS of STAY at THE MANOR HOUSE HOTEL
- ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON RETURNABLE.
- Cheques are not accepted for payment on day of arrival, they must arrive at least 14 days in advance of arrival date.
- Rooms will only be held for 7 days after making a provisional booking, so please send or pay your deposit promptly.
- Rooms are available from 1400 onwards and are only held until 1800, unless you have telephoned to advise us of your late arrival. We reserve the right to re-let the room should you fail to contact us.
- Rooms must be vacated by 1000 on day of departure unless pre-arranged for a later departure.
- Payments made by credit/debit cards are subject to a £3 handling charge.
- If you should need to cancel your reservation, please advise us as soon as possible. If you cancel 4 days or less before your due arrival date we reserve the right to charge you either 25% of, or, should the room not be re-let, the full outstanding balance. We advise you to take out adequate holiday insurance to cover you in this event.
- NO-SHOWS are liable for the full outstanding balance and the principal name will be invoiced accordingly, and your credit/debit card will be charged without further notice from us.
- We reserve the right to charge you for any breakages or damage to hotel property, howsoever caused, during your stay.
- A charge of £100 will be made should you lose your room/front door keys.
- We will not be held responsible for any loss of, or damage to guest's personal property and valuables whilst on the premises.
- We reserve the right to terminate your stay at any time without refund, should we feel that the behavior of you or one of your parties inhibits the comfort and enjoyment of other guests.
- NO alcohol other than that purchased in the bar is allowed on the premises. We reserve the right to confiscate any that has been brought into the premises until your departure day. The bringing in of take-away food is also prohibited.
- Smoking is NOT PERMITTED within the Hotel premises. This is to comply with government legislation. If you wish to smoke you must leave the building.
- For health and hygiene reasons, NO food or drink, other than the hospitality trays or bottled water, is allowed in the rooms.
- Rooms must not be occupied by more persons than stated or booked for. Any non-paying person seen or found in the rooms will be charged the night rate and asked to leave the premises immediately.
- Children must not be allowed to play or run in the hallways or on the stairs. We will not be held responsible should they have an accident.
- Finally, please remember that other guests are also in residence. We request that you show consideration to all, so that everyone can enjoy their stay at The Manor House.
